Welcome!

I started this blog because I wanted to have a place where I can share ideas, life events, and host discussions about a wide variety of topics, but I also wanted the space to delve into these topics deeply. My experience has been that social media is not ideal for deep conversations about topics without black and white answers. My interests range from technology to history to public policy to Christianity (especially Biblical studies) to film and television and more. Hopefully, this blog will not be me blasting the world with my opinions, but an opportunity for community, discussion, and interaction.

When I first started, I thought a single theme would emerge for this blog and I could zero in on that one theme. Well, one theme did emerge and I was ready to re-brand the blog around it. I even bought a domain name for it, but in the end, I found I didn’t want to limit myself to just one topic. As much as I love exploring the whole and holy life, I also love technology and I love football and I wanted to be able to write about those topics without breaking the vibe of the blog. I briefly considered starting multiple blogs, but I stopped myself when I realized that I barely have enough time and energy for one blog!
